Here is Mom and her sweet baby girl. She has a three year daughter already as well. Her newborn was born four weeks early (if I remember correctly, that is) and so she was still so little. She still weighed less than both my boys did at birth.  So, we did her session at four weeks instead of the typical 6-10 days. She was still quite alert, but we were finally able to get her to sleep. It’s all about the warmth. I love it when clients turn their heat up (even if the summer if they’ve been using their air conditioning). It is amazing how much more variety you get when your newborn is very, very warm. It really helps them sleep, stay soothed and sleep deeper and longer.

I traveled to Lillington, NC for this particular newborn session, and I was SO EXCITED to see them again. I had photographed their son in the same home, same great light, same BEAUTIFUL parents, and it was a joy – yet again! I just love going to your home. You are all so sweet, so welcoming, and I loved meeting your Mom, Ruth, correct?

Since your gallery won’t be completely ready for a few more days, I had to come share a little of your baby girl to help you through your wait. I loved her! She looks so much more like her Mama! I will have to show images here, afterwards, of her and her brother Beecher at the same age. It’ll be neat to see!

I am behind on blogging and posting, and I’m sorry about that. It’s just a busy time of year due to the beautiful weather which I am so happy has arrived. I thought I’d share a few more of my past client, Sophia that I loved.
