Beautiful maternity client and her new son | Professional maternity and newborn photography in Fayetteville NC

This client is one I have seen in the past, and she and her family are just as beautiful and sweet as ever. I always enjoy our sessions. The last time I saw and photographed them was her first maternity session and her first son’s newborn session. Now, it’s so amazing to be able to do it all again with her second pregnancy. He was born very soon after (just a little early but very healthy). I wanted to share a few from their session because I enjoyed it so much. Yes yes. I know. I’m showing a lot from this session, but I can’t help myself. I actually had more re-sized to share, but this post would be humongous. We can’t have that now. Thank you so much for having me yet again. I am honored, and I had a great time hanging out with you all. Your baby was SOOOOO good for us, wasn’t he? He did whatever we wanted. What a huge blessing!

Sweet Family | “technically” on vacation

Hi everyone. It has been so crazy around here since my husband left for three weeks (he comes home today!!!) right after Thanksgiving, and it wasn’t expected. I wanted to share a few images of a family session that I had in November. I have seen this family twice before, and each time, there is another beautiful child in the midst of them. They make beautiful babies, they are a beautiful family, and they are ALL so easy to photograph. They are 100% complete naturals and phtoogenic. Their children are so easy to work with and dreams to photograph. I think it shows a lot of love in this family. I will be sharing more from this session.

Also, I am “technically” on vacation until the middle of January. I am still completing current client galleries and orders and will continue to do so. I have no voice from being sick, so I have only been communicating through emails. It takes a lot for me to get the words out, let alone sound like myself to those I call.

I’ll be sharing more soon! I have more to edit before CHRISTMAS…yeah. I can’t believe it’s Christmas this week. I’m so happy. You all have a very Merry Christmas!!!

She is a hoot, I love her! Her personality shines, and what a beauty she is! Those lips. Those lips!

Is he NOT handsome! Wow, this image is about 95% straight out of camera, but he ha ALWAYS photographed that way. He also listens well and “stays”, so I can get my settings JUST right! Love Boaz!

Yes yes yes. It’s 7:00 am in the morning. When I woke up and had a few minutes this morning after one son left and another is about to be woken up to start his day as well, all I could think about was sharing more of this little man. I love this age and this little guy so much. He was a happy boy! I can’t get over how much I love his vest, too!

I know his name shows, but I hope you don’t mind Mom!

Such a happy 6 month old | natural light child session | Fort Bragg, NC

This little man is as cute AS THEY come. I love his fuzz. I really love his fuzz. HE has the prettiest blue eyes and such a happy demeanor. He is 6 months old and this age is MY FAVORITE age to photograph. They are so easily entertained and can be “serious” when they just look at you one minute and then smiling the next. It was a joy to photograph your son. Thank you SO MUCH for having me as your baby’s photographer. It means a lot to me, and I hope to see him again one day as he grows older.

Enjoy!

Grandma and Grandpa did a good job when they sent their grandson this outfit. It turned out to look gorgeous on him and more for a “formal” Christmas picture if I do say so myself. I think he thinks so, too!

And although you can see a lot of the background and toys in the first image, I LOVE it. I think it really shows the love and fun and playing together you have as a family. With babies (and children of all ages really), the house gets a little messy with toys which really isn’t a “mess” at all. I will give her the option of a closer cropped one, but because I like to my personal favorites here to share, I’m sharing the full image. Sweet baby. Mom, you were great too! I really enjoyed meeting you.

Oh the little hands or feet of little ones. I love this type of shot for little ones with that baby pudge we all love to grab and snuggle and kiss on.

Love the color. Love his vest!

Beautiful one year old | At home child session in Fayetteville NC

First, I have to apologize to all my blog readers and clients for not “being around” here lately. I have been very busy, but it’s been more hectic than usual for a few reasons: 1) the flu hit my home and so that was a set back and 2) all the rain dates and having to try hard to reschedule and fit clients in that had sessions on our RAINIEST days. That’s a little frustrating (the weather) during the busiest time of the year. I am back and into my flow again, so I will update more soon!

Oh this little girl was a treat. I haven’t seen her since her newborn session, and since Mom and Dad stilll have their home on the market here (they moved), they came down and had her session at the same time they attended to other things. I’M SO GLAD they did! Great family. “R” really grew up so fast. I couldn’t believe how big (although petite) she was and how fast she had become. She was the sweetest thing! It’s hard to believe that she was sick the very next day! Look at her!

This is a small sneak peek for Mom while she waits up for me to resize and upload everything tomorrow morning. Yes, that “part of the workflow” actually takes about the same amount of time as editing in many instances. So here you go Mom and Dad!

Umm..color looks a bit off online. I don’t like that. But, oh well…sharing anyway!
