Sweet Family | “technically” on vacation

Hi everyone. It has been so crazy around here since my husband left for three weeks (he comes home today!!!) right after Thanksgiving, and it wasn’t expected. I wanted to share a few images of a family session that I had in November. I have seen this family twice before, and each time, there is another beautiful child in the midst of them. They make beautiful babies, they are a beautiful family, and they are ALL so easy to photograph. They are 100% complete naturals and phtoogenic. Their children are so easy to work with and dreams to photograph. I think it shows a lot of love in this family. I will be sharing more from this session.

Also, I am “technically” on vacation until the middle of January. I am still completing current client galleries and orders and will continue to do so. I have no voice from being sick, so I have only been communicating through emails. It takes a lot for me to get the words out, let alone sound like myself to those I call.

I’ll be sharing more soon! I have more to edit before CHRISTMAS…yeah. I can’t believe it’s Christmas this week. I’m so happy. You all have a very Merry Christmas!!!

She is a hoot, I love her! Her personality shines, and what a beauty she is! Those lips. Those lips!

Is he NOT handsome! Wow, this image is about 95% straight out of camera, but he ha ALWAYS photographed that way. He also listens well and “stays”, so I can get my settings JUST right! Love Boaz!

Two newborn baby boys & a beautiful 15 month old girl | Fayetteville Child Photography

Oohh….I have the best sessions to edit currently. I’ve almost completed the one year old little girl now that the precious FedEx man brought me my present – my newly replaced Wacom p

en. I don’t know how anyone edits without it. It gives you the best control, and by nature, I like having a little control. =)

So, I thought I’d come to share a few images from each session. I know the parents would greatly appreciate this little sneak peek. It always helps with the excitement of anxiously awaiting to get that email that says “Your gallery is live and ready for viewing”.

So this girl may only be one, but she is FAST on her feet. She is such a pretty girl that I haven’t seen since she was a newborn. Mom was beautiful as ever (she looked GREAT while pregnant, too). Daddy was away but Grandma came to help us (you know, you get one side, I’ll get the other sort of thing). I taught her a bad thing not knowing that she had a GREAT MEMORY. Maybe Mom will just think of it as another training opportunity, but I know she’ll be running back behind her house and fence again before you know it. Sorry Mom!! It was so beautiful back there. You’ll see when you see her by the bush in this next picture.

And then, we went inside out of the heat for a few on my backdrop. I love this hand painted muslim, although it is not often requested, I am SO glad it was for this little girl.

Then this is a precious litle boy named Kaleb (with a K). He was the BEST for us. I was able to photograph him very early within the first week. It makes all the difference in the world. I have photographed this family and their daughter for years now. She’s four, and I’ve photographed her from about 15 months old. Now, I have the pleasure of watching their son grow up. Here are a few for you Mom. (oh, and Dad and Grandma..and…)

He smiles as he dreams of beautiful things.

I also loved using a new blanket of mine. They don’t always have to be cream. Texture is the “name of the game”.

And I love this one, too!

Then there is Baby Mason who came to me at 10 days old. He was still so tiny and sleepy. He never even made a SOUND the entire time. Everyone says – and of course I completely agree – he was born a laid back baby! Oh yes he is.

Those smiles they give us make the long sessions so worth it! They are such a blessing when I see capture them.

Sweet child session in downtown Fayetteville | NC Child & Family Photographer

This is only a short sneak peek at this “little man”. His family was referred to me by a wonderful client who no longer lives in the Fayetteville area – as sad as that is! I miss her so much – that’s you, Hilary! Anyway, this session was great because we didn’t get RAIN, and we had a lot of rain at that time. Mom and Dad were great (Mom is so pretty), but I will share more of them next time.

FIRST, I will be out of town tomorrow through Sunday, and I will not have access to email or phone calls. I will respond once I return and open back on Monday.

Now on to this beautiful guy. Seriously, he is! HE has the prettiest blue eyes and blond hair and lips and and and….his curls..and and and. This family will be moving next year, I believe, or late this year. They wanted to capture their time here, and I’m so blessed that they chose me to help them do that.

I love this one in both color AND black and white. OH, how will they choose?
