First, I wanted to let everyone know that I have updated my availability calendar on my website with May’s available dates. I would like to remind you that Saturdays book very quickly, so if a Saturday is needed, you may want to book at your earliest convenience.

And now I’d like to share a precious baby boy with you. He weighed as much as my boys did, so it was really nice to have a “filled out” newborn baby boy. It brought back memories for me. Mom and Dad were terrific to work with. His Grandparents were down and such a joy to hang out with. They were actually very big helpers and yet did not ever feel “in the way” at all. They were all fantastic! Mason slept so well for us! It wasn’t until the very end of the session that he let a few things be known, and even then it wasn’t loud at all. He was just hungry. Sweet boy.

Yes, this is a one image sneak peek for Mom, but I was so excited to use my new sea green colored backdrop!  She is precious! I can’t believe she has turned one already, but thankfully I’m seeing her again in 6 months at 1 1/2.  It’ll be great. She is such a sweetheart as is her Mom. I wanted to let my clients and those who read my blog that the “Subscribe” function is not currently working. No one will be able to subscribe to receive notifications for my blog at this time, and no one will receive a notification of any new posts. We are working on figuring out the problem and hope to have it back and running soon.  The blog was down all of yesterday. You could view it, but I was unable to load client galleries, etc.

First, I am late on my November newsletter, and I apologize. I will be working on the newsletter with my current specials this week. I should be sending it out to all my clients who subscribe to my newsletter next week. Also, I will no longer be posting client session links under the “registration/client” tab. I will send all clients their own link to their personal and private client page which gives them all the information they need and links to their galleries. I will no longer be posting them here as I have had too many readers trying to “crack” the pages to view for themselves. I cannot allow this as I cannot guarantee that someone will not be able to get into a client’s page and view their personal session and images. Therefore, it will not longer be located for anyone to click on their link. I am sure you all understand as my client’s privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to me. I also want to assure you that no one’s gallery has been compromised, but I do get information about readers trying and retrying to get in to another client’s gallery. Client galleries can be shared by them only and they can give out their information to who they desire to view their session.

NC STATE SALES TAX UPDATE:

I just wanted to send out a message that North Carolina’s state sales tax is officially 8% today. I justwanted to let my clients and readers know about the change for NC across the board. My website has been updated with the new sales tax requirements.

I apologize that there is no time to share any new images at the moment. I am BUSY editing a family session and then others are right behind that. I will share soon enough, though.

Many will want to schedule for October to receive print orders by Christmas. My holiday deadline will be listed in the newsletter, and I will post here on my blog as well for those that have not signed up for my newsletter.

Now back to your regularly scheduled morning……

First , I wanted to wish this baby girl’s Daddy a safe deployment. I know it’s hard to leave your wife and little girl, but I pray that everyone does fine, stays safe, and for a FAST return! I know your session isn’t due for awhile, but knowing that you’re leaving very soon, I wanted to post just a few for you to see before you go. I also have to let you all know that this sweet baby girl is only 5 1/2 months old and was sitting like a champ. I was so surprised and did not expect that at all. She’s so little and so cute. Her lips, her big, brown eyes, and her little pierced ears – girls! Sigh.

OFFICE CLOSURE:

I will be out of the office beginning Saturday, August 15th and will return to the office on Thursday, August 20th. I will not have email access, but I will return all emails and voice mails upon my return.
