About Me
I have always had a passion for children and photography. I cannot remember a time when this wasn’t my goal or when being a mother was far from my mind. It’s what I have longed for my entire life: being a wife, mother and professional photographer (with being a teacher coming in close second!) . My passion for children stems from my own experience as a wife and mother myself. As a Mom to two boys, both with challenging needs, it is very important to me to give you something to cherish and look back upon to reflect on your own lives. It’s my passion that these images will not only show their appearances , of course, but also a glimpse into who they are, who they were, and who they are to become. You can imagine them as young adults one day, and looking back, you’ll remember how it was when they were small. I find it an honor and truly enjoy capturing my own boys’ progress, growth and successes through the images I capture of them, and I want to do the same for you!
Because of this, I have come to love and appreciate all children and have a high level of patience – a little silliness goes a long way, too! I strive to keep everyone involved as comfortable and casual as possible. I want to capture natural poses and expressions from those being photographed and take my time in doing so.
I love to have fun, be loud, talk a lot (sometimes to you and sometimes when I’m thinking my creativity out loud) during our session, and just enjoy the experience and hanging out with you! I hope that you find the experience with your family or with your child and/or significant other to be as memorable as the portraits themselves will be!
