Announcement: Blog Maintenance & Issues

I wanted to let my clients and those who read my blog that the “Subscribe” function is not currently working. No one will be able to subscribe to receive notifications for my blog at this time, and no one will receive a notification of any new posts. We are working on figuring out the problem and hope to have it back and running soon.  The blog was down all of yesterday. You could view it, but I was unable to load client galleries, etc.

Thank you all so much. Have a wonderful day and enjoy the weather while it lasts!

Recent Family in downtown Fayetteville | “It didn’t rain. It was a perfect day!”

This family was super sweet. They had a wonderful and beautiful little girl. She was so happy. She listened so well and was just a sweet child (Mom and Dad were great, too). ;) We had our session after many attempts at many rescheduled dates. Do you know why? RAIN. I have never had to reschedule so many clients or so many clients more than once before in all my years of working here in Fayetteville. I kid you not. This family had to wait quite a while because it rained every day scheduled before. But, it looked like rain this morning, and I was so upset for her and myself. We met anyway and THANKFULLY, it was beautiful! It was actually nice weather and no one was sweating or freezing. It was definitely worth the wait in the end.

The beautiful Buck family | Fayetteville family photography | repeat clients

We showed up to the session praying for the rain to just wait until our session was over before deciding to open up on all of us. We just needed a little time. Funny thing is, we both showed up and met for our session. The rain held off – right up until we were walking back to our vehicles! Yes yes yes! I was so happy we all didn’t have to reschedule. I know how hard it is to get a family dressed, ready and out the door for a session especially when you have two small children in tow – and the two small children are boys! =)

Great family – BEAUTIFUL husband and wife! It was my first time meeting her husband and Daddy to his boys. Yep, those boys look just like their Daddy alright just as Mom had told me before. It was very nice meeting him and seeing him with his family and HOME with his family.

I wanted to share a few. I’m almost done with her session and then ONE LAST family session of 2009!! Yes yes yes!!

This guy is SO photogenic – always was and always will be I am quite sure of that. He’s just a handsome and funny little man. He is always doing jokes or making faces and just cracking us up!

His little brother is so sweet! When I last saw him, which was not long ago at all, he was only crawling. Now, he runs!

Beautiful mini-maternity session | perfect new clients |Fort Bragg maternity photography

This couple was so perfect this day. They were beautiful (and handsome, of course) and just beaming with excitement and happiness. And, with that, I am also so happy and enjoy those sessions so much. I had a great time. I cannot wait to see their new baby. I am thinking he/she will look like Dad. We’ll have to wait and see. I had a recent newborn look just like her Daddy when I thought she’d definitely look more like Mom. It’s a fun thing for me to see who newborns look more like. I’ve always been this way regardless of it being a “quirk” of mine. We had ample room with gorgeous studio and ambient light. They were exceptionally easy to edit. She has no wrinkles, blemishes and just beautiful hair and skin. I also think she loves being pregnant and is SO excited about having her first child – as she should be.

I wanted to share a few from their session for you all to enjoy as well. I can’t wait to see you all again next month!!

Beautiful maternity client and her new son | Professional maternity and newborn photography in Fayetteville NC

This client is one I have seen in the past, and she and her family are just as beautiful and sweet as ever. I always enjoy our sessions. The last time I saw and photographed them was her first maternity session and her first son’s newborn session. Now, it’s so amazing to be able to do it all again with her second pregnancy. He was born very soon after (just a little early but very healthy). I wanted to share a few from their session because I enjoyed it so much. Yes yes. I know. I’m showing a lot from this session, but I can’t help myself. I actually had more re-sized to share, but this post would be humongous. We can’t have that now. Thank you so much for having me yet again. I am honored, and I had a great time hanging out with you all. Your baby was SOOOOO good for us, wasn’t he? He did whatever we wanted. What a huge blessing!
