Had to share this short but very cute video | Panda sneezes
My son Seth saw this, and then I”ve seen it circulating on Facebook, so I wanted to share here as well. It’s cute. It’s short. It made me laugh. It made me smile.

Because you were so good to me, Ella | Fayetteville Newborn Photographer | 12 days old
This is being shown for two reasons:
1. Miss Ella was sooooooooo good to me. At 12 days old, she was still a sleepy and tiny “peanut”. She’s so pretty (and so good, did I say that already?). She let me try out my new things because she was so good to me. Okay, Okay, enough already. But I can’t stress that enough. It can be hard to get a large variety for newborns unless…. well you know already. So we were able to try a few things during her session.
and
2. Daddy is leaving again soon, and I just had to share a few quickly before he left again. You know your heart melts when you see this precious new baby girl! Eliana – what a BEAUTIFUL name, too!

I really, really, really…..want to eat her up! I needed to slip her into my basket without Mom and Dad knowing (yeah, right!), but they wouldn’t let me. I don’t understand it; I know they need sleep. =)

OH MY FAVORITE – one of them at least!

My Best Friend’s daughter’s wedding | Downtown Fayetteville NC
Now, you all know how much “I do not do weddings”, but when it’s your best friend’s daughter, it’s just not the same. Although weddings are very hard work and very long days and I’d not like to do them on a regular basis, it ended up being a very pretty wedding and a nice time. I love spending time with my friend Lisa (who is not pictured but will be soon). I am up to my knees in paperwork preparing for my BIG TAX appointment tomorrow, but while eating lunch, I wanted to upload a few to share with you all. I am NO WHERE near even to begin proofing. This isn’t even the TOP of the iceberg. I have another friend’s birthday party that is priority after tomorrow’s appointment, but for now , I’ll share a few from the wedding (last year – yikes!). And…I have another of her daughter’s weddings to proof that was due ALMOST a year ago. It seems really bad of me, but my clients come first AND I don’t think Samantha will mind as I did it as a friend and again, hard work. I don’t hear from her much, but she’ll be getting her beautiful images soon, too! And, I’ll share her on the blog just as much.
So on to Georjean, and I KNOW I spelled your name wrong. I always do, and I’m so sorry!
It was downtown and very close to sunset which was really pretty and very fun for me to “play with the sunflare” and backlighting!
Here is one of her getting ready and being helped by her sister, Angel (right) and Marilyn (long time family friend, on left)

The groom and groomsmen. Can you tell who is related? Oh my goodness, I never saw two brothers look so much alike and not be twins! They are the groom’s cousins I believe. I could very wrong very easily as it was my first time meeting them all!

The beautiful location. She walked right up that beautiful, long path on the right.

Her Dad (my best friend’s husband and, of course, my close friend as well) giving her away. SNIFF SNIFF!!

Some serious flare! I can do that with a friend’s wedding. Besides, I have too many other “traditional” ones, too.

I love this shot of them!

Her three little ones- now there children together. Sweet!!!

OH this is one of my favorites! The backlighting & the love they are giving it each with only their eyes and smiles! One of my favorites. And, this is practically straight out of camera. I don’t think it needs any enhancements at all!

And the last one… for now, that is.
My friend’s girls (minus the “baby” who is now 9 years old)
Sisters Forever (whether you like it or not!)Â =)

Now back to much dreaded papework!

We did get some smiles, Mom! | One year old child session | Fayetteville NC
Another “repeater” (which by the way should read VIP….”repeater” is not a bad word/name in my book!). He has “graduated” and turned one. I’m always sad at these particular sessions sometimes because I get excited and really use to seeing my “babies”. Or, at least they feel like my own by the time they are a year! He’s the sweetest thing. He always has been. I adore his family. They are so laid back, so happy, so accommodating, and I love chatting with them. After a full week of COLD weather, what a huge blessing to have 61 degrees (or more I believe) AND a perfect day!
We got some smiles, Mom! Well, not in this firat image, but I don’t mind because it was my first shot of the day, and I still like it!

I actually love this close up in black and white.

Hello there Happy Boy!

Where’s Daddy???

That’s all folks. Ta ta for now.

Dut Dut and Gonuts – a blog must read | a “brave” share from me
Okay, how do I put this? GO READ THIS BLOG! There, I said it. A really good Photographer friend of mine in Annapolis has a husband, who, well…..writes his own blog. He is an amazing writer, and I literally (and I do mean literally) laugh and cry and go “oh my gosh, yes, you too” all the time. I have cried. His latest post actually made me cry because it is so true and so real. That’s another thing: keeping it real! Shane Groah is the writer of this blog and he is always “keeping it real”. To me, that is one of THE best things about reading his blog! I read his blog and realize that being a Mom to two boys mysef – I am not alone!! It is also very, very wonderful and amazing to me that he’s the Dad and writes this blog about life and his family. I just love love love reading and “hearing” from the Dad’s perspective, especially with both of us raising boys. It’s just a neat place I wanted to share with you all. His wife, and my good friend Connie Groah is also a fan-ta-bu-lous Photographer herself. I’ll be happy to share her with you as well.
And if you want to know why his blog is titled “Dut Dut and Gonuts”, well..you’ll have to go read for yourself……Â =)

Enjoy..enjoy…..
And for a laugh, a REAL laugh..just check me out below. Yes, that is ME for the last TWO days. I look like I’ve been mummified, and in some ways, I was. But, no, it’s actually just what you call a “24 hour EEG”. Yes, I had wires all attached to my head, coming down the back of my neck and attaching themselves to those wonderful “electronic gadgets” to monitor my brainwaves! OH yes….very very attractive if you ask me. I even made a small video clip, but I’m not sure if I’m brave enough to share. It’s hilarious by all means. But for NOW, this is as brave as it gets. This is pretty brave to me! LOL Oh, and please laugh. I did. I would. It’s funny. Come on, just look at me! Thankfully it’s off in time for my session tomorrow. Another guy turns one! I cannot wait to see him again.

Now run for the hills! You know you want to after seeing that picture. LOLÂ Â Love you all, too.
