Hello everyone! I’ve been too busy to update my blog right now, and I’m extremely behind on showcasing all the wonderful sessions I have had in the past two months, as well as how wonderful my clients are! I genuinely love everyone I meet. You are all so welcoming, fun and kind above all else. Thank you!

Now on to the reason I am posting but decided to brag on my clients instead – the holiday schedule! Oh yeah, it may still be hot, humid and summer outside, but that will not last long. Friday is August already and our last month of “summer” (well September is still beautiful!). The September schedule is available online, and October will be up within a few weeks.

OCTOBER!! Yes, the holiday deadline this year to guarantee your order will be back and mailed to you in time is NOVEMBER 1ST. Any session after that is not a guarantee. Rush shipping will be available in November for those that want to try to order quickly, and I will do my best to get the order sent to the lab. You also have the option of having your order processing rushed, but the fee is 100% of your order. The option with my lab is available, though, if you require it. Rushed shipping is another option for you. You may want to plan carefully and get your schedule ready for September or October to be safe.

Again this year , I will have a wonderful gallery of Christmas cards available to my upcoming clients as well as my past clients. I keep all ordered images for up to one year, so anyone who had a session with me in 2008 can email me for Christmas card information in October to order some for your friends and family this year using a print image you ordered. Easy as pie! There will not be a $350 minimum order for those card orders from past clients. We have the one-sided 5 x 7 cards, two sided watercolor or linen cards and the upscale 5×7 folded watercolor or linen cards which showcases the fine art texture as well as more images for your viewing pleasure.

I hope to hear from you all soon! I’ve been booking quickly this year, and I have a lot of newborns being born that have to be fit in. So, please, book soon. I would hate for you to miss out on a wonderful child or family session before the holiday season. I, personally, LOVE FALL and BLUE JEANS. I personally have many, MANY fond memories of the fall that always come rushing back to me as soon as I feel and smell that crisp fall air. I met my husband in the fall, I had my first child in the fall – just a wonderful time of year for me. Oh, and my birthday is in the fall. Oh yeah, that too. I don’t necessarily celebrate it anymore, but I typically get taken to my favorite restaurant called Smokey Bones. I absolutely crave their barbeque!!

Well, if your Mom and Dad were born and raised in Texas, then you’re a Texan. You come by it honestly and there is no denying it when the Texas Blood runs deep. Trust me, I know from personal experience. I was raised in Lubbock, TX and most of my family still resides there.

Sweet Miss Texas – I loved her. Mom wasn’t sure she’d be so good to us, but let me tell you – she was divine!

Wow, I put the calendar up last night, had a session this morning and have already had bookings before I even posted it to my blog. I love September – November sessions. I absolutely adore fall, especially the beginning when the cool air starts to roll in. I get so nostalgic every single year when I start to see signs of fall (which aren’t happening YET of course).
