**IMPORTANT announcement***
To all my current clients and all those awaiting galleries, orders, etc
I am so sorry to have to tell you that I will be out of town this week due to a family emergency. I will do my best to catch up and get everything to you all when I return. I will be back home this Friday evening. I feel so guilty to have anyone continue to wait on what they have been so anxious to receive, although I cannot control when these things happen. My Grandma is like my “other Mother” and has raised me, and I have to be with family right now. I’d appreciate any thoughts and prayers you may have for me and my family during this time.
You can email me at info@sherriwinstead.com, and once I return, I will return all emails and get back on track to get everything to you all.
I thank you so much in advance for your patience and understanding during this time in my life,
Sincerely,
Sherri Winstead

Name this star?
Okay okay, she’s not really a superstar, but she looks so much like TWO. Of course, while I photographed her on her couch with some beautiful light rolling in on her (dramatic effect but beautiful all the same), I saw it. Literally, I didn’t notice the resemblance until I was actually looking through my lens and staring at her eyes as well as figuring out what angle I loved, and bam – WOA! I saw it. She looked like a star’s sister for sure. Then once I was home and viewed the SOOC shots, I was amazed. SHe favors this gal AND one other slightly. Both are “famous” in one way or the other. Okay, one is an actress and one is a Country Music Diva/Star!
Who do you see?
Oh and yes, I was blessed to photograph yet another natural beauty that was very good in front of the camera – very easy to photograph and made my job very easy! (a lot of verys there huh?)
And her husband is beyond fun, loving, excited and FUN. Did I say FUN? He was literally a wonderful Dad to Photograph, and they were both up for ANYTHING. Thank you thank you! It was a pleasure, and I stayed too long. Ya’ll should have kicked this talkative Photographer OUT! HA HA HA
I will call your husband mid to late week if possible to schedule the pickup. And I bet you all wonder what I mean? Equipment people….I left some. They live an hour away, but he works here in town. LOL
I only have two for now.
One more to share. I love this one and the use of the porch. Of course, I also have one for them without the post <grin>.

Baby Victor
Baby Victor was born at almost the same weight AND height as my boys. I actually forcasted that he would due to knowing how tall her husband is, etc. I was almost on the money. Isn’t he beautiful. I’m working on this gallery TODAY now that my computer is back up and running. Here are a few more to share.
What a sweet, sweet moment between Father and Son. Ahhhhhh!

Yesterday, both my business softwares were completely down.
It wasn’t until the afternoon that I realized how to correct this situation as well as received emails about the “important” software issues. My programs would never open up, and finally I had to contact Technical Service to find out that a recent Microsoft Update had “corrupted” or messed up the .NET Framework which both my business programs must use to operate. So, for those Photographers out there that has had this happened to you, here are the links to rectify the situation (although it took me ALL day; so now I’m behind once again and going to be “bustin’ butt” to get things done for my clients) below for those using Quickbooks and StudioPlus software in your business.
This was a great referral, but having to do this step-by-step and reboot each time took me until 1:30 AM this morning to correct. But, everything is working and it’s back to business today.
I also have to add that this has to be done in Internet Explorer.
Microsoft .NET Framework tutorial
For Quickbooks, I finally received an email last night regarding the issue with this information:
I hope this helps those of you that need it.

My Life: Getting braces
I thought I’d let you all know that I’ve had many dental appointments in recent weeks, and today I am having a tooth extracted. I’m doing all of this, so that next month, I’ll have top braces put on! I’m so excited. I’m also very scared and nervous. I know I’ll be having sessions with a very sore mouth. =) So, before then, many of you will have to see me with a large gap (missing tooth), a gap between my teeth, and a canine that never went into place. Don’t say I didn’t forewarn you. Then again, the end result of a better smile (it will never be perfect) and having my teeth in place and the gap closed, is just a DREAM. I’ve hated my smile my entire life, although it doesn’t keep me from smiling. So, you all will have the sincere pleasure opportunity to watch my smile change in the next 15-18 months. So please know that when you see me NOW, I will be taking care of it.
Also, I wanted to add that I’ve always been able to make fun of myself and “pick”, so it’s okay that I talk about what I’ve called my entire life – “my jacked up grill” ha ha ha ha.
Wish me luck today. Then, once the sedation wears off, I’ll continue to proof my newborn session. Sedation? OF COURSE! My worst fear is having a tooth pulled at the dentist. And, I’m starving! I can’t eat or drink anything today. I’m glad my boys are in school because I’m a bit cranky because of it all.
Take care and enjoy your day!
