Beautiful Family…. quick glance at a few

Wow, that storm this morning was BAD! Yuck. It’s not a pretty day at all, although I know we need all this rain! I’ glad I am working in the office all day today and tomorrow (outside of school IEP meetings..never ending saga of my life).

This is a BEAUTIFUL family. They wanted to get some great images to show the love they have for one another,  especially for their baby boy. They have gone through so much the past year to year and a half or so (I don’t know all the details of course), so their session was and is quite precious to me.  Beautiful family - inside and out!  Gorgeous, vibrant and funny kids! Spiderman himself came along for the ride (i.e. their son - Spiderman’s #1 fan). He can shoot some crazy webs out of his wrists too - just like Spiderman!  Their daughter was a hoot! I mean to tell you she made me laugh. She was all over but sweet and followed direction rather well for a girl her age. I loved her hair. I’m actually jealous of her and Mom’s hair - Mom’s skin too! =)

Aren’t they gorgeous. Sigh! It was so  hot, humid and “buggy” out that day, but we all made the best of it. I know it wasn’t easy with it being so hot. The gnats were beyond ridiculous this day - in our faces the entire time. I’ve even seen them in some of the images.  =)

I love this one in black and white, but I’m PARTIAL to black and white. So I’ll show you both versions.

Her daughter….oh goodness, she’s a beauty!

and again in black and white..

And Spiderman himself….disguised as a 2 1/2 year old boy.  And, yes, he is throwing his web right at me in this one.

Until next time..back to work for me.

ENJOY !

September’s schedule…..sneak peek

September isn’t here yet, but as of today, it is already completely booked.  It is that “time of year again” for the  holiday rush.  Thank you all!  It’s a much shorter month for us as we are taking our last vacation of the year at the end of September (25th- 30th).

Another sneak peek for one another beautiful one year old that I have had the priviledge of photographing since she was 6 weeks old. I love watching my First Year clients grow up and change! I will tell you one thing about this little Miss that shocked me. She talks and talks well for just turning one year old. My boys were such late talkers (and being boys at that), so I was just in awe of her.  Mom and Dad probably thought I was nuts because I’d get so excited when she’d say two word sentences and put her hand up to her ear saying “hello”. It about killed me everytime. I can’t imagine being her Mom. I’d eat her up all day long!

I love this one in black and white! Gorgeous I tell you - gorgeous!

And she is NO DOUBT a Daddy’s girl. Oh yeah…..aren’t all daughters?

My baby turned nine today! Say it isn’t so…

Oh my goodness, I’m never prepared for my “baby” to turn a year older each year. I’m really not. I mean, I’m THANKFUL we aren’t dealing with the autism in full force as we have in years past, but for that reason, it is HARD to let him grow up! OMG….so hard. I want to keep him little forever. Well, okay maybe not forever, but…for a little while anyway.

Seth turned nine today. Wow!  I worked a lot in the office, but I had to take time out for him. He even had to show you all his new tricks. His “foot thing” is something he’s done for over a year now. Outside of one incident at school this year, so far, he has pretty much learned when it’s an appropriate time or not to share his little trick with others. Oh yeah…picture us in the grocery store or in a department store (you name it), and out of the blue, he’ll see someone he thinks MUST need to see his tricks- they must. They are close to him, they probably gave him a smile or eye contact, so VIOLA……down on the floor he goes and does his thing. Oh yeah, they look at him…and then at me….and then they look at him again in all his glory (SMILING from ear to ear)…and then I just look at them and smile back! Sometimes I say “it’s his new trick. Oh goodness..he just HAD to show you..sorry”…and we move right along all the while I am coaching Seth as we walk.

“Now Seth, that is so cool that you are that flexible (so flexible that it actually grosses me out a bit b/c he’s stick thing ta-boot)…. but well…when we are in a store, it’s not really the best time or the most appropriate time. Also, you have to remember that we don’t know that lady. She looked at us and smiled, but she’s still a stranger, so you need to remember that we don’t talk to strangers unless….blah blah blah..story of my life..so on and so forth”… But gracious I LOVE THIS KID. He makes me laugh at the drop of a HAT I tell you. He is the cutest thing…and although my oldest is quite handsome just let me point out, Seth just has that CUTE factor. It helped him OSOOOOO much when he was younger. Daniel and I use to be at our wits end and look at him and just say “you’re lucky you’re so dang cute Little Mister”. hee hee

And his favorite toy - BIONICLES. Oh yes, BIONICLES everywhere. And last week, he has learned to climb the door frames (he had to have me show you that as well). Sigh….my boy’s a-growin-up.!

I am sharing  A LOT of him today. I hope you don’t mind.

Oh, and those are our two cats - sunny and mingo - both named by Seth himself!

Oh those big boy teeth =)

Big boy teeth

And now for the stuff that should either 1) make you laugh out loud or 2) make you go “oooooohhh..ouch!”

I shared a lot. I couldn’t help myself. Until next time.

OH and a quick sneak peek… A 2nd birthday party. Oh, and I WILL share with you all his earlier “before” pictures when time permits.

A little guy I photographed - Mr. Happy Baby

Ahh..yes. This little guy had his 6 month session. His mom is celebrating his life through pictures with our First Year Plan. I LOVE seeing my babies grow! Did I say MY babies? Well, well, now. We know that isn’t true, but they feel like my own babies. I adore them all so much

This session was SOOOO fun and soooo EASY! He was a gem. Of course, 6-8 month olds sitting and not crawling are the BEST age for photographs. They are typically always happy, easy to  “put down” wherever we want them and…they stay! LOL

Enjoy these two Mom. I have more that our my favorites, but I can’t share just yet since you’re getting your gallery soon. Then, I’ll do more sneak peeks for the remaining families. Yeah!!

What a happy boy! He reminds me of my boys at that age, minus the blue eyes. Lucky thing!

Until next tiem!
